I specialize in working with adult BIPOC (Black & Indigenous people of color) and their families on making life-long and generational holistic health improvements by identifying and addressing the root causes of the issues that keep them from living their best lives.
I offer a client centered and holistic approach that aims to bring to light the associations between diet, stress, family history, support systems/resources, life experiences, environment, and issues related to current and/or historical oppression, and how YOUR body, mind, and spirit have been responding.
I partner with my clients to address stress and mood related issues (like self worth & confidence, depression and anxiety) and neurodiversities (such as ADD/ADHD and ASD) that often coexist with autoimmune disorders, diabetes and blood sugar management, weight imbalances, chronic pain, adrenal fatigue and more.
In my early twenties, I suffered from depression, ADD, chronic pain and adrenal fatigue for many years. It took me a long time to fully understand what my body needed to restore balance. As a young single and Black mother, I just remember feeling confused and overwhelmed with all of the advise, new terminology and dietary recommendations that were so different from my families traditional diet. I just wished that I had someone to hold my hand and walk me through it all. I keep in mind while working with my clients.
